Muyu Galápagos is an exciting restaurant in San Cristóbal, an island in the remote Galapagos archipelago of Ecuador. This unique establishment focuses on empowering its local community with sustainable gastronomy and hospitality professions while protecting the environment in which it prides itself on. Muyu has generated a family atmosphere complete with rooftop vegetable gardens, foraged ingredients, and wild bar creations made from eco-friendly produce. The restaurant is working to create a catalogue of Edible Plants of Galapagos. By doing this, Muyu Galápagos hopes to continue inspiring self-sufficiency in order to safeguard this paradise island.
