Berggasthaus Bollenwees is a charming mountain guesthouse located by the Fälensee in the Alpstein region. It's famous for it's Rösti, which according to them, is known far out of Switzerland too! (I had the cheese Rösti with an egg which was honestly a 10/10)

The hut is popular, so if you want to stay there I recommend booking early, especially on weekends! As it's located right next to the lake and only 30 minutes hike away from Saxer Lücke, it's the perfect spot to stay if you want to experience these places for a sunset or sunrise without the crowds!
