A relaxed, family-friendly walk along a wide panoramic path, connecting two car-free villages with constant views of the Valais Alps.
🚠 Start Point – Kühboden/Fiescheralp
From Fiesch, take the cable car up to Fiescheralp (also called Kühboden).
From the station, signs clearly point towards Bettmeralp. The wide, mostly flat trail begins right next to the station.
🧭 Trail Description
The path follows a broad, well-maintained track with minimal ascent or descent.
You walk through sunny alpine meadows, passing a few farm buildings and grazing areas.
The route offers open views of the Rhône Valley below and snow-covered peaks on the horizon.
About halfway, there are benches and viewpoints — perfect for a short rest or photos. Soon after, the rooftops of Bettmeralp come into view.
