Hoher Kasten is a mountain in the Appenzell Alps, Switzerland, offering stunning views of the Rhine and the surrounding landscapes. You can easily reach the summit with a cable car from Brülisau and enjoy a meal at the revolving restaurant up top.

We walked up from Brülisau, which made the whole experience a little more intense! Hoher Kaster is also the starting point for the hike to Saxer Lücke.
