We didn’t get the chance to visit last time, but Ouzoud Waterfalls are high on our list for our upcoming trip—and for good reason. Tucked in the Atlas Mountains, this stunning cascade drops over 100 meters into a lush gorge, surrounded by olive groves and cliffs echoing with the sounds of nature.

From everything we’ve read (and heard from fellow travelers), the experience is magical. You can hike to different viewpoints, take a little boat ride beneath the falls, and even spot playful Barbary monkeys along the way. The full-day trip from Marrakech is a bit of a haul, but it sounds totally worth it if you love nature, dramatic landscapes, and a bit of adventure.

Definitely a must for next time—and a top rec if you’ve got a day to spare outside the city.
