We didn’t get the chance to visit Jardin Majorelle during our time in Marrakech—but it’s at the top of our list for next time, and it comes highly recommended by just about everyone we met. Known for its electric blue buildings, lush gardens, and peaceful walkways, this spot is one of the most beloved (and photographed) places in the city.

Originally designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent, the garden now also includes the Berber Museum and the Musée Yves Saint Laurent nearby. It’s not just beautiful—it’s a cultural and artistic hub that blends nature, architecture, and Moroccan heritage all in one visit.

Important tip: Tickets must be purchased online. The garden is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with last entry at 4:30. If you're planning to go, head there early to beat the crowds and catch that soft morning light for photos.

Even though we didn’t make it this time, we’ve heard it’s absolutely worth it—and it’s definitely on our list for the future.
