Message from Lara and Aldin

We stumbled across this little bakery by accident. Hidden in a quiet alley, this place is where locals bring dough to be baked into Khobz, the round, hearty bread you’ll see served with just about every meal in Morocco.

You can step inside and watch the whole process—from trays of dough to golden loaves being pulled from a wood-fired oven. It’s free to enter, but just a heads-up: if you take photos, expect someone to ask for a small tip (a pretty typical part of the medina experience).

Still, it’s a fascinating stop for anyone curious about local food traditions—and the smell alone is worth it. If you're heading toward L’mida Rooftop for sunset, this makes for a quick and memorable stop along the way.
