The Fairy Glen is a unique geological wonder located on the west side of Trotternish on the Isle of Skye and is an absolute must-see for anyone visiting the area.

The glen is comprised of a number of mounds set in a low-lying valley, surrounded by sheer rock cliffs and hills which give the landscape an air of magic and enchantment. The area is steeped in local myth and legend, with many believing it to be the gateway to the fairy realm.

Tourists can explore the Fairy Glen with a hike around its unusual formations and it's a great place to explore for all the family.

Parking is just a little before the Glen and it's a short walk to reach them on easy ground.
