Slains Castle, also known as New Slains Castle, pretty epic stop on your journey along Scotland's East coast. The castle is said to have inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula, and there's definitely a mysterious vibe as you wander through its crumbling walls. To reach the caste you need to park just off the main road and walk along the track for 10-15 minutes. Well worth a visit in any conditions, just be careful exploring the ruins as these are old castle ruins.
