The Isle of Raasay Distillery is the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay, a remote Hebridean island with just 160 residents. Despite its size its reputation for both whisky and gin production means a visit here whether you are on the island, or staying on Skye, is a must for lovers of either spirit.

With incredible views back over to the mountains of Skye and a great bar and restaurant serving up incredible sharing platters, you can easily spend a food few hours here enjoying a tour and this beautiful part of the island.

Easily reached from the ferry port (15 minutes across from Sconser on the Isle of Skye) you can come over from Skye as a foot passenger really easily.

The distillery is also opening up more rooms so visitors can even stay at the distillery - keep an eye out!
