Calton Hill is one of our favourite places to take people in Edinburgh.

A short walk to the top gives you amazing views out across the city in all directions and is easier to do than Arthur's Seat or the Craggs if you are pressed for time.

Situated beyond the east end of Princes Street and included in the city's UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hill is home to various monuments and buildings that also make for great photo subjects.
