Point Defiance Park is a beautiful park located in Tacoma, Washington right on the Sound. Here you can visit a zoo, aquarium, gardens, go for a walk on the many trails, or have a picnic on the beach. On a clear day, you can look over from Owen Beach to see the stunning Mount Rainier! It is not uncommon to see wildlife such as sea lions, deer, bald eagles, or if you're really lucky humpback whales. This park will truly make you forget the city is just next door.
