One of our favorite ways to explore a city is simply to walk around and occasionally take a wrong turn. You never know what you might stumble upon 🤭 That's exactly how we found this antique store.
We had walked down this street several times before, but on this particular day, we noticed a small light shining from a window and decided to peek inside. What we found was the kind of place that instantly makes you want to spend an hour browsing.
The store was filled with vinyl records, old Yugoslav-era objects, vintage posters, furniture, and all sorts of unique pieces that would have looked amazing back home 🥹
The owner spoke excellent English and was incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The only downside was the pricing. Some items felt noticeably more expensive than similar pieces we had seen elsewhere in Belgrade. For example, we later found the exact same vinyl record in another store for around €30 less.
Still, that didn't take away from the experience. If anything, our biggest regret was arriving without enough cash and without a suitcase large enough to bring some treasures back to Finland. 😭
