We wanted to experience as much of Yugoslav-era culture as possible during our time in Belgrade, and this was one of our favorite places for that 😍

The setting alone makes it worth the visit. Located by Sava River, the restaurant offers beautiful views, especially around sunset when the light reflects across the water. Inside, you'll find plenty of decorations and memorabilia that give the place a distinctly Yugoslav feel.

The food also exceeded our expectations. While it was slightly more expensive than the places we usually gravitated towards, we felt it was worth it. If you're unsure what to order, we particularly enjoyed the beef in sauce, the cabbage salad, and, the bread, which was so good that it deserves a mention of its own.

If you're looking for a meal that combines comfort homie food, a unique atmosphere, and a glimpse into a different era, this is a solid choice 🙌
