This is one of those places that genuinely makes your jaw drop the moment you walk through the doors 😲.

From the outside, the Church of Saint Sava is already impossible to miss. Its massive white dome dominates the skyline and can be seen from various parts of the city. But, it's the interior that left the biggest impression on us.

The scale is difficult to capture in photos. Everywhere you look, there are golden mosaics covering walls, ceilings, and domes. We spent far longer here than we originally planned because every time we looked up, we noticed another detail.

One thing many visitors miss is the crypt downstairs. Don't make that mistake. It's every bit as impressive as the main church and feels completely different world hidden beneath it.
