This was recommended to us by a local when we asked about interesting things to experience that still carried some connection to the Yugoslav era, and this cinema immediately caught our attention 🫢.

What makes it special it is it's Yugoslav interior and that is that it's run on a donation basis, meaning you simply pay whatever amount you want or can. In a time when almost everything feels commercialized, there was something refreshing about that idea.

Unfortunately, we discovered it a little too late. By the time we found out about it, none of the movie screenings matched our schedule. Otherwise, we definitely would have gone 😢.
