We added Michanti in El Zonte to the map for a very simple reason.

Some time ago we stayed at their sister hotel El Xalli, and we genuinely loved the experience. The atmosphere, the design, and the way everything felt calm while still connected to the beach town energy.

This time when we came back to El Zonte, we fell in love with the area (we would definitely choose it over El Tunco), and we started looking again at places in the area that had caught our attention before. Michanti was one of them.

Since our stay at El Xalli left such a good impression on us, we feel confident saying that Michanti is very likely a solid option to stay in El Zonte. It’s already on our own list of places we want to try next time we’re back.

If you’re exploring El Zonte and looking for somewhere with thoughtful design and a relaxed vibe, this is definitely a spot worth keeping in mind.
