On the way to Los Planes de Renderos there is a local spot with a million dollar view. It’s a local viewpoint and restaurant with a gorgeous panorama over the city and the surrounding landscape.

We haven’t eaten a full meal here, but we’ve stopped many times for atol de elote and enjoy the gorgeus view from the car.

One thing to keep in mind: lately they’ve started having a minimum consumption to stay, which makes sense because the view is a big draw and they don’t want the place full of people ordering only one drink. So just be aware of that before you go.
