This beach is one of those places that's a peaceful energy that’s hard to describe until you’re there. We stayed right on the El Jaguey beach at Alma del Golfo, waking up to wide open views of the Gulf of Fonseca with the silhouette of Conchagua rising in the background and on clear days you can even see across the water toward Nicaragua and Honduras.

The beach here is long, sandy, and usually very calm when the wind is low. What makes this place feel truly special is the rhythm of local life, where every day fishermen pass by with their catch, and you can buy fresh fish straight from them for lunch or dinner. It’s one of those simple luxuries that feels incredibly authentic and rare.

And the sunrises…😳 honestly some of the most beautiful we’ve seen.
