How to get there:

From Devonport or Port Sorell, follow Bass Highway (A1) west and turn onto Greens Beach Road. There’s ample parking near the beach, with easy access to the sand and nearby grassy picnic areas.

Yes — Greens Beach is family-friendly and ideal for swimming. The waters are generally calm, though always check local conditions before entering the water.

Can you see wildlife there?

Yes — Narawntapu National Park is nearby, so kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats can occasionally be spotted close to the beach. Seabirds are common along the shoreline, and dolphins are sometimes seen offshore.
