The Pinnacle Observation Shelter and Boardwalk is located near the summit of Kunanyi / Mount Wellington, overlooking Hobart, the Derwent River, and surrounding valleys. The shelter offers a covered vantage point, while the boardwalk provides easy access for scenic photography and sightseeing.
How to get there:
From Hobart, drive up Pinnacle Road to the summit car park. The shelter and boardwalk are a short walk from the parking area, fully paved and clearly signposted.

None — the viewpoint is accessible directly from the car park via a short boardwalk, taking only 5 minutes.
Difficulty Level:
Very easy — suitable for all visitors, including families and those with limited mobility.
Dogs allowed:
No — dogs are not permitted in areas managed by the Wellington Park Management Trust.
