Location:
Round Mountain Lookout is located in north-west Tasmania, near the small town of Wilmot, along the Cethana Road (C136) corridor. The lookout sits atop a hill, offering sweeping views over Lake Cethana, surrounding farmland, and the distant Western Tiers mountains. The road to the lookout is sealed and suitable for all vehicles.
How to get there:
From Wilmot, follow C136 (Cethana Road) toward Lake Cethana. The lookout is clearly signposted, with a small pull-off area for parking. A short, well-formed path leads from the parking area to the viewing platform.
