Dogs allowed:
No — dogs are not permitted inside Narawntapu National Park.

More information:
Archer’s Knob offers one of the best elevated views in the park. From the top, you’ll enjoy sweeping panoramas over Bakers Beach, the coastline stretching toward Port Sorell, and the inland wetlands where Forester kangaroos, wallabies, and birdlife are often seen.
The walk gives you a classic Narawntapu experience — vast open grasslands, coastal views, and native wildlife grazing in the early morning and late afternoon. The summit is especially stunning at sunset, with the long curve of Bakers Beach glowing in golden light.
Archer’s Knob is an excellent, low-effort hike that showcases the coastal beauty and wildlife-rich landscapes that make Narawntapu known as “Tasmania’s Serengeti.”
