Approximately 2.1 km return for the combined Forest Walk + Lookout Walk.
Difficulty Level:
Moderate — graded as Class 3. The track includes a steady but manageable uphill section through rainforest and buttongrass.
Dogs allowed:
Dogs are not permitted.
More information:
The walk begins with a rainforest “Forest Walk” — a loop through cool temperate forest, boardwalks, and ferns.
Then you branch off on the “Lookout Walk”, which climbs gently through buttongrass up to the hill summit.
From the lookout, you’ll get panoramic views of the surrounding plains, Tarkine rainforest, and Milkshake Hills themselves.
There are good visitor facilities: picnic shelter, toilets, and electric BBQs at the trailhead.
