More Information:

Maria Island is a fascinating blend of natural beauty, wildlife, and convict history. Walks take you through coastal heath, eucalypt forest, and historical ruins. The Painted Cliffs’ red sandstone is stunning, and the Fossil Cliffs offer a peek into the island’s geological past.

Since there are no shops on the island, bring all your food and water. Note that the weather on Maria Island can be different to mainland Tasmania. Be prepared for all kinds of weather.
