Hallett Cove has plenty of beautiful corners, but Heron Way Reserve is one of the best for a laid-back afternoon. This spot is perfect if you’re looking for a simple, relaxed outing – just bring a picnic blanket, pick a spot on the grass, and watch the sun dip down over the water.
On warm summer nights it does get busy with locals and families, but that only adds to the atmosphere. The reserve has a huge playground that’s a hit with kids (I've gone on the slide too heh), plus a nearby café if you’d rather grab something instead of packing your own snacks. It’s the kind of place where you can spend a while, whether you’re here for a sunset, a casual catch-up with friends, or simply to soak up nature.
