This one’s an easy 500m return walk with a rewarding view at the top. Mount Barker Summit gives you panoramic views of the Adelaide Hills and it’s not too touristy either, so you often get the summit all to yourself. Great for sunrise too! You will have to keep walking past the lookout point with a picnic tables to get to the summit and please note that the carpark gate on Mt Summit Road is locked before dusk so do plan out your time accordingly.
