This is a cool spot near Adelaide (under 16kms) that's all about a stunning escape to nature. We visited Sturt Gorge Recreation Park just after winter and it was so beautiful with the lush greens and the flowing gorge! It's got rare greybox grassy woodland, ancient rock formations, and even mountain bike trails to explore. You can hike, bike, or just chill by the Sturt River and maybe catch a glimpse of some native critters. Just remember to bring your own supplies because there aren't any facilities in the park.
