This is a point-to-point trail that really captures the charm of Robe. Starting from the Esplanade, the walk winds along the rugged coastline and takes you all the way up to the Robe Obelisk. At 6.1km, it’s manageable in a few hours at a steady pace, but you’ll find yourself stopping often for the views.

Along the way you’ll pass highlights like the historic gaol ruins and the natural wonder of Doorway Rock! The cliffs here are steep, so keep an eye on your footing always, but that’s part of what makes the scenery so striking. On our visit, we were lucky enough to spot a wallaby darting across the trail – such a lovely surprise and a reminder of just how special this stretch of coastline is.
