A short walk from Cape Banks Lighthouse brings you to the Pisces Star Shipwreck, which is best viewed at low tide. The wreck itself is quite modern, lying just off the shoreline, and while it might not be as dramatic as some of the older shipwrecks, the location and it's visibility makes it worth the visit.

The road in is unsealed, but we managed it in a 2WD without any trouble. Seals were lounging on the rocks nearby when we visited, which was an unexpected but very welcome sight! If you’re heading out in summer though, be prepared for march flies – they were relentless when we went, so pack spray if you plan on staying long.
