You can’t visit Mount Gambier and not stop here. The Blue Lake is so vibrant, especially when the sun’s out and there’s a walking trail around the crater rim if you want to stretch your legs, or you can just stop at one of the lookouts for a quick view. It’s one of those places that makes you go “wow” even if you’ve seen photos before and I have shamelessly been here more than 3 times! If you're interested, there’s also a guided tour down into the pumping station available at certain times of year. Oh and one more thing I recommend while you are here is to try Molony's Blue Lemonade - you will find it at the local shops and it's definitely one you can't miss!
