If you want bragging rights that you hiked up to a volcano (a dormant one of course heh), this is a great option. The hike was a little steep at first but not too bad overall. Once at the top, you can walk around the rim of the crater for some epic views. The walk up to the rim is via a well-maintained staircase, and once at the summit, you can walk the 2.5 km trail around the crater rim. The views are stunning and offer a unique geological perspective of the region. Do bring water and wear sturdy shoes!
