Spring is one of the best times to visit the National Botanical Garden, when sakura trees bloom and fresh greenery spreads across the landscape. The Japanese Garden is a seasonal highlight, while the back sections of the park offer steeper, more adventurous walking paths and quieter corners away from the main entrances.

If you are visiting in April, look out for the fabulous wisteria tree at the ticket booth.
