Eden Island is a man-made island just 3.5 km from Victoria, with a bridge connecting it to Mahe. It was created during the 2000s and has protected bays and beaches, a small port and yacht marina, and lots of expensive and luxuruious hotels and homes.

You can stay at the Eden Bleu Hotel or Eden Bleu Apartments (we did - it was stunning!), or just spend the afternoon browsing the marina, shopping centre and restaurants.
