Hōrin-ji is a cool Shingon Buddhist temple in Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan. It was built back in 713 AD by Gyōki and used to be called Kadonoi-dera. This place is all about honoring Ākāśagarbha, the bodhisattva of boundless space. It's one of those Thirteen Buddhist Sites of Kyoto, so you know it's got some historical significance. If you're into Japanese religious spots, this temple is definitely worth checking out!
