Wat Phrathat Phanom Woramahawihan is a Buddhist temple located in the That Phanom District of Nakhon Phanom Province, Thailand. Legend has it that the temple houses Buddha's breast bones in its pagoda, making it a significant site for Theravada Buddhists. The temple's architecture combines Khmer, Dvaravati, and Cham styles, with a 53-meter tall square pagoda that underwent renovations over the years. Visitors can explore traditional Thai proverbs depicted in paintings within the temple complex. The annual week-long festival held at Wat Phrathat Phanom attracts pilgrims from all over, especially those born in the year of the Monkey.
