Jingo-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple located on Mount Takao in Kyoto, Japan. Established in 824, it follows the Shingon Buddhism tradition and houses a statue of Bhaisajyaguru, the Buddha of Healing. The temple boasts sixteen National Treasures, including ancient statues and documents. Over the years, the buildings have been reconstructed due to fires and wars, with notable structures like the Kondō and Bishamon-dō. Visitors can enjoy throwing clay plates off the famous cliffs overlooking the Kiyotaki River for good luck.
