Kazue-machi Chaya District in Kanazawa is a charming area filled with old Edo-period buildings lining the Asano River. It's one of the city's three traditional entertainment districts, where you can find tea houses and restaurants housed in historic wooden structures. Less crowded than its larger counterpart, Higashi Chaya, Kazue-machi offers a more relaxed atmosphere for a leisurely stroll or a nice dinner by the river.
