Wat Ban Tham is not a Buddhist monument like the others. The atmosphere is more of an amusement park than a place of worship. When you climb the staircase, entering the mouth of a dragon, you cross its body in spirals, adorned with 1995 mythological paintings, and end up in a huge cave with several buddha images. Inside the cave it can be dark so bring your tripod for better results. You can also continue climbing to the top of the mountain for the view and a small pavilion.
