In the province of Saraburi, on the first reliefs of the mountains of Sankamphaeng, Wat Pa Sawang Bun is an extraordinary temple. It is nicknamed Chedi 500 Yot, or the 500-pointed stupa, because of the hundreds of golden points on the structure. The temple was a very nice surprise for me and it's very peaceful with no tourists. If you continue behind the temple and take the stairs up, you'll see a huge 200m reclining buddha in construction. I don't know how long it will take to finish but in several years it will be a very famous stop in the region.
