Pattava is a popular Beach resort on the Gulf of Thailand, just two-hour drive from bangkok. Pattaya's pulsating nightlife is well known, and has quite a bad reputation overseas, but local authorities have, in recent years, improved the quality of the beaches and reinvented the city as a more family-friendly destination. Today, hundreds of thousands of visitors are drawn each year to Pattaya to windsurf, water ski, swim, sunbathe, snorkel, sail, or take trips to nearby Islands such as koh Larn. In term of photography, there's a lot to cover between the different beaches like Jomtien, the famous Pattaya sign, the infamous walking street at night, the many temples like big Buddha or Buddha mountain, and the many nice places with great views such as Horizon rooftop, Pippa restaurant, Sky bar & Gravity lounge, Virgin rooftop, 3 mermaids, Lunar beach house... There's also very nice beach restaurants like Cave beach club, Fat Coco, or Tutu for their pink umbrellas.
