Shoju-in Temple, also known as Furin-ji, is a serene Buddhist temple located in Ujitawara, Kyoto. Built around 800 years ago, it houses a stunning eleven-faced Kannon statue and a rare sitting statue of the Buddhist deity Acala. Visitors can enjoy over 2,000 wind chimes during the summer Wind Chime Festival and marvel at the "Window of Happiness" with its heart-shaped view of the changing seasons. With activities like bracelet-beading and yoga classes, Shoju-in offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking spiritual solace amidst beautiful Japanese scenery.
