The trail to Tugela Gorge starts from Thendele camp and is a spectacular 13 to 15-kilometer round trip that immerses you in the heart of the Drakensberg. The path is well-marked and mostly flat, but the final stretch involves some fun boulder hopping to reach the stunning gorge itself. You can hike as far as you'd like into the gorge.
