Stony Point Nature Reserve is home to one of the largest breeding colonies of African Penguins in the world and features a scenic boardwalk built over an old whaling station. You can often spot penguins for free by walking to the left of the parking lot toward the rocks and beach area, where many birds hang out outside the official fenced reserve. Besides the penguins, keep an eye out for the dassies sunbathing on the rocks and different types of cormorants.

Entrance fee reserve:

  • Adults: R45 for adults

  • Children (ages 4–17): R30

  • Wild Card holders: FREE
