Located on the slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens houses a variety of native plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees which provide year-round blossoms and color. You can explore well-marked trails through the forested area. In summertime, the gardens also host outdoor music events, known as the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts (Every Sunday from December to March - book tickets online in advance). Plan for at least 2 to 3 hours to wander around as the gardens are very large.
