Walk down Church Street and step back in time. It's a living museum showcasing the largest collection of Cape Dutch, Edwardian, and Victorian homes in the country. Every one of the 32 heritage buildings was lovingly restored after a major earthquake in 1969. As you wander along, you can read the historic information boards in front of each building to learn more.
