Tackle the legendary Sani Pass, a rugged mountain road that's the only link between KwaZulu-Natal and the Kingdom of Lesotho. You'll need a proper 4x4 for this one, as the gravel track twists and climbs steeply through the Drakensberg mountains, offering some of the most dramatic scenery in the country. We did this as part of a tour and added the link in here. It's a fun experience as you get to celebrate your achievement at the highest pub in Africa and visit a local Basotho village (in Lesotho).

Tip: pick a clear sunny day for this tour as the top of the road is often covered in thick mist!
