Established in 1863 during the Otago gold rush, the Cadrona Hotel is one of New Zealand's oldest hotels and one of the few remaining buildings from that era in the Cardrona Valley. This rich history is palpable in its rustic architecture. It's a quick photo stop on a drive between Queenstown and Wanaka.
