The trail starts from the Monk's Cowl office, climbing past Crystal Falls and the Sphinx. It offers spectacular views of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle. Did this trail as an out-and-back since the loop option was unmaintained at the time (but might be a good option if it's maintained). Views the whole way are amazing. Worth it to get on the plateau where Blindmans Corner is. Views from The Sphinx are also great if you have less time. Very quiet, didn't see many people on the trail.
