Ship Creek is a small river near Haast on the West Coast that flows into a coastal swamp forest. It got its name from the discovery of a shipwreck's hull in the 1870s, possibly from the SS Schomberg. The area offers two short walks - one through sand dunes and another through dense kahikatea swamp forest. There's also some sort of watchtower that offers a beautiful view.

Tip: WATCH OUT FOR SANDFLIES IN THIS AREA!
